People in my circle are deliberately not giving me jobs or tasks. They'd rather rely on AI to do the writing for them. Here we are again with people who think writing is easy. That there is no process, no thought that goes in making copy. That because there's AI, they can let it do the job. Honestly not the first time that my skill has been downplayed or undermined. The thing is, there is a process to the madness of the art of writing. That which AI cannot give. Besides, isn't it lazy to have AI do the work for you? Where is the pride in the work? Oh yeah, those people are not writers, so they don't have that. No typing and bleeding, like in the Hemingway quote. You know what sucks even more? The idea that they don't want to give me the work because they want to keep costs down. They probably wanted to keep the pay for that job, too, rather than give it to me, I don't know.
